The first did poorly while the high-end merchants scored big showing us who had extra money to burn and who did not. But then, I rant, and that's another story. that goes by the individual and the job. I worked a factory job that paid great, but most of the time I did not want to be there. (which can be true of any job) After thirty years on the assembly line I'm retired with full pension at 53. the only reason I was able to do this is because I have been debt free for years and maxed out my and roth plans for over 20 years.
